JOSEPH E. HOWARD'S "MUSICAL WORLD REVUE" ORPHEUM TODAY Joseph Howard claims first mention with his "Musical World Revue," in troducing in four attractive scenes a number of his own compositions sur rounded by appropriate atmosphere. Singer-composers a.re as a rule some thing of a bore, but Howard escapes this criticism by the liberal employ ment of unusual 6tage effects and by invoking the assistance of a large number of additional singers and su pernumeraries. There are dancers and deckhands, Chinamen and cake walkers, sailors and "rounders"; be sides a fair "unknown" who in a sort of tuneful fashion parade contrives to display a series of most bewildering gowns. Deseret News. Adv. BESSIE REMPEL ORPHEUM TODAY Bessie Remple and ber payers pre sent a clever sketch, "You." It is reminiscent of a play given 'by the Washington Square players, in which the identical idea was used with a slight change in the manner of devel opment. In "You" a man and a woman and their real selves stage the little drama. .It is very well done. Sara Farrar in Denver News. Adv.
