January 4 About forty couples attended the Phi Kappa Psi party given at the chapter house. Mr. and Mrs. Reginald Woodruff chaperoned. Lieut. Ernest Harnsborger, ot.Ahton, was an out of town guest. Ninety cuuples attended the Silver Serpent Red Triangle Benefit party at Rosewilde. The chaperones were Professor and Mrs. F. A. Stuff, and Miss Bess Williamson. Katharine Newbranch and Helen Loftman formed tho commitec. Prof, and Mrs. George Foster and Prof, and Mrs. J. H. Broady chap eroned at tho Freshman Law hop given at tho Lincoln. Eighty-five couples were present. Members of the committee were Horman Schroeder, Arthur Yost, Laird Potter, Lawrence Shaw, Albert J. Phillips, Harold D. Muneke and John Wright. January 5 Black Masquo gave a party for sen ior girls Saturday afternoon from 3 to 5 o'clock at the Alph Phi house. A short program was given. Dorothy Rhodes whistled, Josephine Burkett gave a violin solo and Beatrice Dierks danced. Refreshments were served. Thirty couples attended tho Junior class ag-party given at the Music hall, chaperoned by Miss Ruth Odoll and Miss Gladys Denny. Walter Johnson, Aline Winslow, Dorothy Boulton and Majory Jacoby made up the com mittee. Chi Omega entertained thirty-five couples at the chapter house. Mr. and Mrs. Frank Sanford, Mr. and Mrs. Hosic, and Dean Amanda Hoppner chaperoned. The out of town guests were Pauline Steinburg, of Evanston, and Mary Thompson, of Clay Center. Professor and Mrs. M. M. Fogg and Mr. and Mrs. E. H. Long chaperoned the Senior hop at the Lincoln. One hundred couples attended. The com mittee comprised John Barton, chair man; W. R. Montgomery, C. H. Grau, Harlan Wetherbee, G. Loewenthal, Edna Fitzsimmons, Gretchon McPrang, Edith Yungblut, Lucile Lees and Lucile Wilcox. PERSONALS in Aline Mitten visited friends Omaha Saturday and Sunday. Irene Smith, of Wahoo, visited Loreno Hendricks, Thursday and Friday. Mildred Bowers and Louise Wat kins visited friends in Omaha Satur day. Hassett, of Tecumseh, visited her niece, Mary Hedrick, Sat urday and Sunday. Josephine Grey, of Omaha, is 'visit ing Helen Houston at the Kappa Alpha Theta house. Zetta Ruth Higgins, '16, of Walnut, la., spent tho end of tho week at the Alpha Delta PI house. Mrs, Frank Snethen, of Humboldt, spent Sunday with her daughter, Hazel, at tho Achoth house. Mrs. J. E.
