Mr. and Mrs. S. D. Butcher of
Broken Bow visited th Historical
society Monday. Mr. Butcher has
taken several thousand pictures of
pioneer life in Nebraska which are
in the collection at the Historical
society rooms.
John Riddell Leaves
School for Navy Service
John Riddell, '18, has left school
to enlist in the navy. He will be
stationed in Lincoln for the present
as a recruiting officer for this dis
trict. Riddell has played a prominent
part in student life in the University.
During the past year he has been a
member of the Cornhusker coaching
staff. He also served on various
University committees and was presi
dent of the Student Patriotic league.
He is a member of the Delta Tau
Delta.
