ceutical fraternity, held its annual
Founders' Day banquet at the Lin
coln hotel. Dr. Geo. Borrowman pre
sided as toastmaster. Toasts were
made by Chas. Lesh, X. P. Hansen,
Byron Thomas, James Marquis, Fred
Creutz, Oscar Cone and Dean R. A.
Lyman. Out-of-town members who
were present were Oscar Cone, E. H.
Cprbin, Victor Johnson, Ralph Cobb
and Fred Creutz.
Union Literary society held a home
coming meeting in Union hall Satur
day evening. The program included a
whistling solo by Dorothy Rhodes and
short talks by the old members of the
society. Union alumnae present were

vation and Land Survey commission
will speak Wednesday evening pcfore
the civil engineering society. The lec
ture which will be accompanied by
motion pictures will deal with the sub
jects: "The Irrigation Project in
Western Nebraska," and "The Oregon
Football Trip." The meeting will be
in M. E. 206 at 7: .10 o'clock. Every
one is invited.
Cadet Companies Now Have
Seventy-Two Men Each
Wednesday afternoon the compa
nies of the University Cadet Regiment
were equalized by the shifting of
men, so that the present average per
company is now seventy-two men.

posed of second year privates, was
reorganized, distributing the . second
year men among the other companies
