Palladian Literary society will hold
a short but important business meet
ing in Palladian hall Friday evening
at 7:30 o'clock. No social meeting
will be held this week. The annual

part of the week in Omaha.
Phi Delta Chi, pharmaceutical fra
ternity, will hold its annual banquet
on Friday evening' at the Lincoln.
Dean G. W. A. Luckey will address
the child study section of the Ne
braska State Teachers' association in
Omaha this week.
Dr. R. A. Lyman has gone to Omaha
to deliver an address before the State
Teachers' association on Friday morn
ing. He will return Friday noon.
C. M. Kincaide, '20, has received no
tice from the government of his selec
tion for a clerkship in the office of the
adjutant-general at Washington, D. C.
He will leave within the next week
to take up his new work there.
Stewart and Richard Hadley re
turned from Omaha yesterday, where
they attended the funeral of their
brother, Frank Hadley. Hadley was
graduated from the University in '98,
and was a member of Sigma Alpha
Epsilon.
Dean Amanda Heppner left today
for Omaha to attend the Teachers' as
sociation. She will be present at the
sectional meetings and the University
luncheon, and Friday she will go to
the Teachers' luncheon at the Black
stone, and to the meetings of advisors
and deans of women. Dean Heppner
will return Saturday. Miss Bessie
Williamson will be in charge of the
office today and tomorrow.

Kearney Club
The Kearney club will hold a meet

Freshman Football
All freshmen who want to try out
for the class football team are urged
to be at the Armory Friday at 12
o'clock. The meeting will last only a
short time, but will be important.
This does not include members of the
freshman varsity.
Geology Students
Sigma Gamma Epsilon, the geo
logical fraternity, will hold a meeting

is extended to all new students inter
