The freshmen of Kappa Kappa
Gamma entertained all Greek fresh
men girls at the annual freshman
Pan-Hellenic party, Saturday after
noon. The afternoon was spent with
music and dancing. The purpose of
this party each year is to help the
freshmen from different organizations,
to become acqauintert.
A new class consisting simply of
sports and games, has been organized
in the girls' athletic department.
Most of the games will be played out
of doors. Soccer has started and
the other games will be played in
their season. The games were taken
out of physical education 33 and put
into this class, physical education 45.
Alpha Delta Pi announces the
pledging of Irene Doty, '20, of Lincoln,
and Lucile Baughman, '21, ot Lincoln.
September 28
Five " fraternities entertained at
house dances. Phi Kappa Psi had a
dance for twenty-five couples, who
were chaperoned by Mr. and Mrs. C.
V. Branch.
Mr. and Mrs. A. T. Cavanaugh. Mr.
and Mrs. Lester Brickley, and Mr. and
Mrs. O. P. Clarke, chaperoned thirty
one couples at the Delta Chi house.
Delta Upsilon had twenty-five cou
ples. Eugene Holland and Bruce
Young of Omaha, chaperoned the
party.
The Pi Kappa Phis entertained for
twenty couples. Professor and Mrs.
Barbour were guests.
Twenty-five couples attended the
Kappa Sigma party, where Mr. and
Mrs. Lawrence Parrel chaperoned.
September 29
The Black Masques had a party for
all senior girls Saturday afternoon, in
Faculty hall in the Temple. The
rooms were decorated with sumac.
The seniors were entertained with
dancing, refreshments and a program.
Helen Possner gave a violin solo, Ger
trude Munger sang, and Catherine
Pierce gave a reading.
Alpha Phi had a house dance for
twenty couples, chaperoned by Mrs.
Samuel Waugh.
Trof. H. B. Pier chaperoned fifteen
couples at a dance at the Farm house.
C. B. Merrick, '13, of Adams, was an
out-of-town guest.
