HUSKERS TAKE FIELD; (Continued from page one) A Probable Lineup A probable line-up of a team that should be able to give a good account of itself, from among the men who have been out to practice, can easily be picked. At the center of the line would be either Young or Shaw, both members of last year's freshman team. At the guards would be Munn, Young, Kriemmelmeyer or Teeters. For tackle there is a fixture in the person of Captain Shaw; and for the other side of the line, there are DuTeau and Hubka. On the ends, Riddell and Rhodes are almost certain fixtures, al though Henry will give either of them a fight for the place. In the backfield there is excellent material for every position. For quar terback there are McMahon and Cook ; the one a veteran and the other a youngster with lots of speed and nerve. The rest of the backfield can be picked from such men as Schellen berg, Kellogg, Dobson, Otoupalik, Dan and Henry. Such a team would have all the requisites of a first class eleven. There would be plenty of punters with Dobson, McMahon, Munn and Otoupalik to take turns. Munn and Captain Shaw could be depended upon for a good try at place kicking whenever it was needed and there are Feveral men to receive and throw for ward passes. Speed would be personi fied and weight would not be lacking in the line. Just whether the team will line up this way when the season has gotten under way or not can not be told yet. Some of the men may have developed unknown ability during, the summer and may appear qualified to play dif ferent position than thoy occupied last year. One thing is certain, unless something in the way of a cruel Jinx step in and stops the proceedings, Ne braska is to have a winner in spite of all the strong teams she is to play.
