The Com mercial club debating team won a two to-one decision over Rudge & Guenzel's Tuesday evening on the affirmative of "Resolved, that nationally advertised goods are best for the retailer." Prof. D. F. Cole, instructor of advertising of the University, was one of the speakers for the Commercial club. Prof. J. E. LeRossignol, head of the department of economics, was one of the judges. State Educators to Meet. The an nual meeting of the Nebraska Educa tional association will be held at Ne braska City, April 4, 5, and 6. A num ber of educators of national promi nence have been sec ured to give talks, among whom are Ella Flag Young, the former superintendent of the Chicago public schools; Dr. Charles McKenny of the Michigan State normal school at Ypsilanti. and Harold W. A. secretary to China, for whose support the Nebraska to China cajn paign of the University association was made several weeks ago, visited the University yesterday. She left last night for New York City. Miss Coppock came from China to secure thirty-eix assistant secretaries for the China field. She will get twen ty-slx of them from the United Stales, wo from Canada, six from Great Britain, one from Sweden, and one from Australia.
