Each member is free to believe as his conscience dictates. He is free to change this belief as his outlook broadens, as his sympa thies widen, as new thought and new discoveries set aside the principles on which he had backed his interpre tation of life and of the universe. Ac cepting proven facts he is free to be lieve that which seems right to him. But you ask how can they be held together if there is no common basis of belief? Though they differ in be lief they may be permeated with a common desire for knowledge and for truth, they may be filled with a mutual understanding and sympathy in their struggle for truth. Instead or grouping themselves around a concrete product of the in tellect they are bound together by a feeling of fellowship, devotion and common aims. All Souls church, corner 12th and H, is organized on these principles, and invites you to attend its services, which are held at 10:45 a. m. Subject next Sunday is "Life, Not Happiness, the Goal."
