Omaha, Sunday, and was the guest of
Ruth Mills, '16.
Louis W. Home, '16, is instructor
in chemistry and botany in the high
school at Emmett, Ida.
James Colton, '19, has accepted a
position as assistant physical director
at the Omaha Y. M. C. A.
Fred Wells, '17, has returned to col
lege. Mr. Wells has been reporting
on the Lincoln State Journal for the
past two years.
Vivian Fulton, '19, has returned to
her home in Beatrice after spending
the week in Lincoln. Miss Fulton will
not attend college until second semes
ter. A. O. Johnson, efficiency agent of
the university, and E. L. Goldsmith, as
sistant superintendent of construction,
visited friends in Minnesota last sum
mer. They made the trip by auto and
returned through Iowa.
Prof. Searl Davis of the rhetoric de
partment, attended summer school last
summer at Madison, Wis. Professor
Davis and his mother made the trip
from Lincoln to Madison by auto.
They returned by way of Chicago,
where they were joined by assistant
registrar, A. H. Hiltner.
Captain R. J. Saunders of the Uni
versity Cadet band, yesterday gave out
the names of twenty-two men who had
made places on the band, as a result
of the tryouts held last week.
New men wishing to try out Tor the
band are asked to report with instru
ments Friday at 5 o'clock, in the Tem
ple theatre.
