Encyclopedia, and he was contributing
editor to the Webster's Dictionaries,
1903-1908. He was made professor of
philosophy at the University of Ne
braska in 1908.
Among Dr. Alexander's works are,
"Problems'. of Metaphysics," "Pilgrim
Alden." "Poetry and the Individual,"
"The Mystery of Life," and "Odes ore
(he Generations of Man."

The "Deutscher Klub" established
las summer by the summer students of
the German department, was a great
success. Why not revive it this summer?
Registration for the summer session
takes place Friday and Saturday in Ad
ministration Hall. Students in the
summer session have the pleasure of
trying out their courses for a week be
fore registering for them.
The seniors and the officers of the
German Dramatic club were enter
tained at the home of Miss Ida Wilson,
16, last Thursday evening. Though
the occasion was one for farewells,
"echt deutsche Frohlichkelt," was. not
lacking. The outgoing seniors were
made to perform, and Miss Magdalene
Craft, the new assistant coach for next 1
year, was installed -with flitting cere
