part of Dolly Kamman, and Maurice
Clark, who took the part of McFarJand,
were the stars of the play. They dis
played talent and acting of a high
order. Every part was well filled. The
smoothness of acting of the whole play
was surprising, considering that it was
an amateur play. It is our private
.opinion that this play alone was worth
twice over the price of the ticket for

"Tuesday night the entertainment
took on a different classificationT The
play, 'Believe Me, Xantippe,' was pre
sented by the university players. The
parts were all well taken and the
play caused much merriment from the
beginning to the end. The Community
hall was crowded until standing room
was at a premium, and every person
present expressed full satisfaction,
and nothing but words of praise for
the players was Heard. There were
623 people there by actual count, which
