Mr. Simms is a Phi Gamma Delta and a graduate of the class of 1910. Chester Barnes, '19, who has been in the hospital for a few days on account of a bruised foot, is able to attend classes again. CONVOCATION FOR PROF. WALLACE Convocation Thursday, devoted to Prof. C. W. Wallace's Shakespearean work, was attended by a very large number of faculty and students. The program was under the auspices of Phi Beta KaDDa. Dr. Louise Pound presided. Professor Wallace held a scholar ship in the university and received his A.B. and M.A. degrees from this institution. He then took his doctor's ilama In Germany. The research work done by Professor Wallace has removed all doubt as to the genuine ness of Shakespearean works, and his contributions to the scientific literary world are priceless. The local chapter of Phi Beta Kap pa will probably have a convocation hour each year, devoted to the nis tory of a Phi Beta Kappa alumnus from Nebraska. SYMPHONY INTERPRETATION BY PROF. DANN TUESDAY Professor Dann will interpret Schu mnnn'B First Symphony Tuesday moraine at 11:30 o'clock in Art hall This symphony will be given at the riATt musical convocation. The hour of interpretation has been changed from Saturday afternoon to Tuesday morning, in order that more of the students and faculty can avail them selves of the opportunity to hear the interpretations. . MEDICS VISIT HOSPITAL Th medical students, at the invi tation of Dr. B. F. Williams, visited tha State hospital last night for the purpose of Inspecting the inmates and t,ilvlne their diseases.
