These will start with overtures in stead of symphonies, with Mrs. Carrie B. Raymond at the organ, accom panied by the string quartet, the first program being as follows: Overture to Der Freischutz. .. .Weber Overture to Figaro's Hochzeit. .Mozart Egmont Overture Beethoven Saturday at 3 o'clock in Art Hall. Prof. W. F. Dann will play over these overtures so that all who desire may become somewhat familiar with them before they are given in Convocation. TWENTY-ONE IN TOURNAMENT Four Rounds Have Been Played Ellis Has Been in Semi-Finals The twenty-seven men entered in the University tennis tournament have fought four rounds in one divis ion with the result that their number is reduced to twenty-one. Th?rc-are six rounds to be played this year. The results of the games played are: L. Champe defaulted to Charles France ; N. Young defeated 1). B. Dow. 6-1 and 6-0; Art Schmidt defeated J. V' Ravmond. 8 6 and 6-4: Taul Babson defaulted to Burke Taylor and Taylorl was defeated by Harry Ellis, 6-0 and 6-1; O. Chatt defeated Longsprit, 6-1 and 6-1. In the fourth round Ellis defeated Chatt. 6-0 and S-6. Ellis is the only man who haa played through to the semi-finals.
