The Alpha XI Delta sorority gave an informal house dance Saturday night Thirty couples were in attend ance chaperoned by Miss Hanke and Mr. Hiltner, Miss TRunge, and Mr. Raber, and Mrs. Ida -Fairbrother. Among the dancers were Miss Mar garet Greenough and Miss Marie Hix enbaugh of Omaha, school visitors in Lincoln for Fete Day. The house was decorated with the fraternjty colors and Japanese lanterns were used to light the lawn. The chaperones were Mr. and Mrs. Ray Crancer and Mr. and Mrs. Fred Saunders. The Delta Chi fraternity gave a dance and lawn party at the chapter house Friday night which was at tended by many out-of-town guests. The lawn was decorated with Jap anese lanterns and-colored lights. Re freshments were served outside. Thirty couples attended the party, which was chaperoned by Mr. Arthur Hiltner and Miss Sedgwick. Seventy-five members attended the annual banquet of Kappa Kappa Gamma at the Lindell Hotel, Saturday night. A program of music and a dramatic selection took the place of the usual toast. Nellie White Mar shall was mistress of ceremonies.
