Aaron S. Speier of Lincoln is the
representative of the East-Central dis
trict. He attended grade school at
Crete two years and then the McKln
ley and Everett schools. He Is a
member of the Ciceronian Society and
the Senior-play cast and Is Senior edi
tor of "The Advocate," the school
paper. He was a member of Lin
coln's League debating team last year
also and was on the team that this
year won the Amherst cup y defeat
ing Omaha. v
Frank Harrington of O'Neill will
represent the Northern district. He
spent his first and second high-school
years at St. Mary's, Kansas, and thej

Donald David Elliott of West Point
is the representative of the North
Central district. He is a member of
the senior class and without doubt
will he the valedictorian. He took the
debating course offered in the high
school and became a member of the
debating team. His clear, logical
thinking, under fire, made him a valu
able member of the team. He is look
ing forward to a course in law.
Walter Christenson of the Oakland
High School will represent the North
eastern district He did the ninth
grade and tenth-grade work at the
Pern Normal School.
MisS Nell Tash of the Alliance High
School, representative of the North
western district will he graduated
with honors this year. She U also
leader In etudent activities. She was
a member of the Alliance team which
won the district championship last
year.
Leonard Wilson Klein.-will be the
representative from the Southern dis
trict, of which Blue Springs is the
leader. He has taken all his school
work at Blue Springs, making an ex
ceptionally high record as scholar.
He will be graduated this year. This
is his first year on the debating team.
Hutgers George Van Brunt is the
representative of the Beatrice High
Schoot and the Southeastern district
Although this is his first year in in-
terscholastlc debate, he has had good
preparation in the I. F. Debating Club
and the regular class work In argu
mentation. He Is president of the
Senior class and will graduate this
year with scholarship honrs.

years led his class in scholarship.
Dal Lantz, of the Kearney High
High School, champion of the West
ern district for the eight successive
years of the League's history, has had
all his schooling at Kearney. He is
the president of the Senior class, has
been captain of the football team two
years, and was the acknowledged all
star quarterback of the state last
year. He ranks very high in his gen
eral scholastic work. He was a mem
ber of Kearney's district-championship
debating team last year.
Ralph Brooks, representative of the
West-Central district, is a junior la
the Sargent High School. This is his
first year on the debating team. He
intends to study law.
