Presented by German Dramatic
Club Cast
"Der Neffe als Onkel." by Schiller,
will be presented by the German
Dramatic Club at the Temple Theatre
this evening. Those in charge have
put much work on this play and the
coaches as well as the cast felt well
pleased with the result of the dress
rehearsal last evening. The oust fol

presented in Lincoln, Xebr., at the
Orpheum Theatre for one week com
mencing Monday, matinee, May 3.
When one considers that "The
Spoilers" in book form, when first
published, sold for 41-50, and was the
largest of the six big sellers of its
time; required six hours of one's
time to read and thoroughly digest;
the best seats for the play of the
same name sold for 1.50, taking
three hours for presentation and
those who have seen 'the play, read
the book and witnessed the picture
proclaim the picture superior to both;
the picture being exhibited for one
sixth the price which the book sold
for in the first edition, requiring only
two hours of one's time to thoroughly
digest the entire story, one will read
ily realize that the moving picture
business is worthy and deserving of
its prominence, its importance, ana
educational value.
"The Spoilers" Coming to the Or-
pheum. Vitalizing a Romance
It has been the fashion of late to
picturize the work of famous authors.
and Selig has advanced this as a fine
art in "The Spoilers" from the book
bv Rex Beach, in most spirited and
vital fashion. This moving picture
play in nine reels had its first public
representation at the spacious and
beautiful new Strand Theatre on
Broadway, in Xew York City, and has
continued there as the feature, argu
ing for its profitableness and popular
ity. It followed this success as a reg
ular fixture feature at the Studebaker
Theatre, on Michigan avenue, Chicago,
where it has continued to do wonder
ful business to "capacity houses."
The significant voice of the great
centers where this picture has a show
ing, speaks volumes for this produc
tion, which undoubtedly will become a
phenomenal attraction wherever pre
sented. "The Spoilers" is a virile and
