Qualifications to oVte
On the question as to who may vote
an attorney of Lincoln says:
"Voters that are students at the
University and that now consider Lin
coln their home are entitled to vote.
This is true even if a person is un
certain and undecided as to his future
home or future course or place of resi
dence upon the completion of his Uni
versity course. Six months In tne
state, ninety days in the city and ten
days in the precinct are the important
factors. The registration day is next
Saturday, and the city election on
May 4."
Throughout the national forests the
rangers are posting the roads with
Dermanent guide signs which tell dis
tances and directions, especially at
forks and cross-roads. The signs are
usually put up in the winter when
other work tends to be light. On some
forests the rangers go on snowshoes,
dragging loaded sleds, nail the sign
boards to the roadside trees.
