Entered at the postoffice at Lincoln, Kebraska, as second-class mil matter, under the Act of Congress of March , 179. FRIDAY, AFRIL 16, 1915 ABOUT THE NEBRASKAN Every year the freshmen in rhetoric classes are asked to -write a theme upon the subject, "Is the Daily Xe braskan a Representative Paper?" That makes, no doubt, a fairly inter esting subject for freshmen to discuss, but it really has little effect upon the Nebraskan, for the editors do not get the benefit of the criticism. No doubt such a collection of ideas contain many valuable suggestions, for different in dividuals can see different faults and have varying ideas of what constitutes a representative paper. Now, we should like to have the opinions of different people who have the time and inclination to put their ideas on paper, as to how they think the Ne braskan can be improved. It is not even necessary to sign your name to any suggestions you may like to offer. Send them in and we will read them. But even more than this we desire the co-operation of the student body in getting the live news about the campus. Many things happen each day about school that would be of in terest to the University public, but which we do not get because no one connected with the paper sees or hears about it. We should like for you to feel that the Nebraskan is your paper that it is being published for your benefit. We have a telephone in the office. We urge you to make use of it and telephone us any item of in terest. Fifteen people, in their limited time, cannot possibly learn of all the happenings of interest in a community of three thousand people. We urge you to co-operate in making the Ne braskan representative. UNIVERSITY BAND (Continued lrom page 1) 5. Clarinet Duet, "Sinnen und Min- nen" Thomas Messrs. Locke and Harkson 6.
