economy and commerce. The book is

about a month.
Harold Katon. lf0S. now a fellow
and assistant in the department of
geology at Chicago University, as
recently elected to mebership in
Sigma XI. honorary scientific society,
and Psi Xi. honorary graduate society.
Mr. Katon is giving instfuction in
place of Professor Williston, who is
awav on leave of absence.
Mrs. George. Schwake entertained
two hundred and fifty guests at a
musk-ale in honor of her daughter,
Mrs. William La Verne nates of Lodge
Pole, Nebr., at the Lindell Hotel, Tues
day afternoon. Mrs. Bates was for
merly Miss Florence Schwake. Pi

features and the dinner. The date set
so early in March enables every one
to invest his three dollars without
borrowing from his friends. This date
was undoubtedly scht-duled for the
special benefit of Ihe "fussers" who
wish to lake advantage of this last
