AND YET ANOTHER Nebraska Graduate Now Teaching in Lincoln High Has Specialized in Commercial Branches Another Nebraska man has made good. Mr. John T. Swan, '13. is the latest to come to the attention of the Nebraskan. Since his graduation Mr. Swan has specialized in commercial branches. Last year he taught com mercial subjects in the high school at Madison, Nebraska. He was so suc cessful there that he was given a sim ilar position this year in the Lincoln High School, where, it is said, he is duplicating on a larger scale his former success. This conference, which Is Bald to be the first of Its kind ever held In Nebraska, Is being promoted and will be held under the auspices of the Nebraska Popular Government League. At the afternoon session the discus sion w ill be led by F. L. Bollen of Crofton, former state representative, and chairman of the Popular Govern ment League; Victor Rosewater of Omaha, editor of the Omaha Dally Uee; L. E. Ayls worth of Lincoln, pro fessor of political science; F. A. Brogan of Omaha, former president of the State Bar Association, and W. L. Locke of Lincoln, associate editor State Journal. At the evening session, J. N. Norton of Polk, state representative; u. Beecher Howell of Omaha, Republican national committeeman; E. L. Have lone of Beatrice, treasurer of Gage county; A. E. Sheldon or Lincoln, di rector legislative reference bureau, and C. A. Sorensen, law student and secretary of the Popular Government League, will lead the discussion.
