GRAM FOR THIS WEEK
Physicians Are Throwing Out Their
Chests Will Spend Latter Part
-of-Week In Omaha.
This is "Medic Week." The medics
will desert tho labs and will abandon
their "stiffs" or tho ball diamond and
tho picnic grounds.
Convocation was devoted to tho
"medics" yesterday. Dr. P. R. Mllroy
of Omaha gave tho annual "medic"
address. Last evening tho boys held a
smokor. Thursday tho "medic" edi
tion of tho Nobraskan will appear.
Tho big picnic at tho Beach will bo
hold that afternoon also.
Tho program includes a tug-of-war,
class relay betwoen the sophomores
and the freshmen, ono hundred yard
dash, sack race, threo-legged race, and
rescue race. A ball eamo Wwnnn Mm
sophomores and the freshmen will
take up tho remainder -of tho after
noon. Two famous umpires have boon
secured for tho game, Dr. R. A. Wol
cott and Dr. Barker.
Friday morning tho "medics" will
leave for Omaha, where thoy will bo
welcomed by-the 'medical school and
will tako lunch at tho Happy Hollow
Club after an auto rido about tho city.
On Friday afternoon tho tennis tourna-
mont will bo gtnernri, and a number are
going to try out for tho Stokes trophy.
Saturday will be given ovor to hos
pital clinics and the senior rocoption

will give a hop Friday evening at tho
