Wilson of the Law College will give a speech. After the Innoconts have been tapped, the lunches will be distributed. Each person muBt have a ticket in order to secure a lunch. The commit tee especially urges that all who de sire lunches should not. fall to buy their ticketB before Tuesday noon. Positively no lunches can bo bought after Tuesday. In order to provide by. the committee the day before, and the committee docs not feel that it can take any risk of not selling ordered. The lunch will bo guaran teed to be satisfactory ' at tbo price and quite sufficient to satisfy tho most particular. HISTORY TEACHERS OF NEBRASKA MET HERE University Professors on Program Ancient Maps Exhibited by Jones. The third annual meeting of tho Nebraska History Teachers' Associa tion was held in this city last Friday and Saturday. The program Friday consisted of a six-thirty banquet at tho Temple Theatre. A lantern talk on "Little Lessons From the Life of Lin coln" was given by Professor C. E. Persinger. Professor Guernsey Jones spoke on "Recent Phases of English Radicalism." , Tho Saturday program commenced at nine in the morning when Professor H. W. Caldwell spoke on "One Hun dred Years of Peace, and Dangers That Have Threatened It." Mr. T. V. Goodrich of Lincoln gave a report on "Demand for Material on tho First Hundred Years of Peace"; "Professor J. G. W. Lewis of the Wayne Normal gavo a talk on "Tho Use of Library Reading in tho Teaching of History"; "Some Miscellaneous Aids in History Teaching" were given by Misses Au tumn Davles of Omaha and Julia M. Wort of Lincoln. An exhibition of English and American maps, some of which were unearthed by Professor Jones while in England, was made "by Professors Jones, Caldwell and Per singer of tho University. Somo of these maps represented Lower Cali fornia as an island. It is said that one. of theBO maps dotes back to 1521. -A-luncheon was, .held at-Ahn.Cnm-, morclal Club from noon until one thirty.
