Tho comhiencement week program has been progressing very nicely. Wednesday was Class Day. Yester day afternoon campotitlvo drill was held, followed by the alumni banquet at the Lincoln at 'G:30. Tonight in the Temple Theatre will be held tho commencement exercises. The speak er will be Joseph Wing, of Mechanics burg, Ohio. Mr. Wing Is a prominent agriculturist and has written several books on this subject. The music for 'the evening is in tho hands of Mrs. Raymondr She h'nfe arranged a very good program which will be given by a string trio. The personnel of tho trio is Mrs. August Molzer, Miss Lilian Eiche and Mrs. Raymond. They will present: 1. Marcho, by'SchuborU 2. Adagio, by Arthur Foote. The Class Day program began with a reminiscence luncheon at the Lin coln Hotel at 12:30. Only seniors took part in this luncheon. Tho toasts con sisted of short talks on reminiscences. The program for the afternoon started at 3 p. m. in tho assembly rdom. Tho Farm Band played an overture and then II. C. Bull, class president, gave the welcome address. Tho class his tory was given by means of a reflec troscope. ' The prophesy was thon given by about a dozen of the class. They pretended to bo a group of tho class meeting a number of lears later than the present. They began talking over old times and gradually unfolded the history, -or-rathcr-tho futuro o'f the entire class. The band then led the march to the senior rock, a large granite boulder which is the class gift. HIGH CLASS PROGRAM FOR GLEE CLUB CONCERT Organization Is Working Hard for Its Home Concert at the Temple on May 1. One week from tonight the Univer sity Glee Club will give their annual home concort In the Temple. All the members are practicing faithfully with Mm. Raymond and ono of tho best programs evor prepared by a Univer sity Glee Club is anticipated. Although tho entire program is not as yet ready for tho public, still we have it from good authority that thero will be everything from grand opora to popular rags. Several special num bers are being rehearsed. Tho Uni versity Quartet, composed of Messrs. Grlswold, Allison, Harpham and Scott, will also appear on the program with a galaxy of harmony which is bound to please. It has been called to tho attention of the Daily- Nt'braskan that the, Glee Cjub is especially desorving of the support of tho student body and a largo number should turn out to tholr concert. Whenever music Is needed to enliven a University ovont, tho Band or the Glee Club is called upon to meet the requirement and in most cases these organizations have re sponded with a will, and havo ren dered their services free of charge.
