About the first of the year the Regis
trar received the names of all tho
high school seniors who were in lino
for graduation this spring. To all
these young people University publi
cations and 1 itorature are-being sent
this week Requesta ane ..also. .J)elng
made of tho various superintendents
and principals for the grades of each
graduate. Theso grades will bo en
tered upon regulation cards at the
Registrar's office and after a record
haB been made In tho office theso cards
will be sent to the students so they
aro then In readiness for registration
next fall. This method saves much
time and confusion at tho last mlriuto
when the responsibility of'havlng the
registration go smoothly Is ' quite a
burden.

During the campaign for new subscribers during
the past registration week, promissory notes for
$1.00 were taken by the management as equivalent
to the cash subscription.
While theso notes are payable on the demand
of the publishers, it is not the intent of the pub-
lishers to demand the payment at a certain-dnte
but it understood that payment must-be made be
fore the signer of tho note leaves school.
Those who aro indebted to the Daily Nebraskan
for the present semester may visit the office in tho
basement of University Hall at any time and upon
the payment of $1.00 receive a receipt in full.
Prompt payment will assist tho management very
materially in making a full financial report before
the end of tho school year.
