For several years Ruby was known as one of the fastest college artists in the west. Dailey has built up a reputation as a professional if no little ability, but he has not been connected recently with college athletics. Hegining with next semester, wres tling will be taught as a part of the regular program for all gymnasts Heretofore it has only been given in special classes. Men who wish to try out for the team in addition to at tending the classes will be given per sonal attention by the coach, begin- ning with the first of the new year. A practice schedule has not yet been arranged, but the dates will probably be set for 4 to f p. m. daily and 11 o'clock till noon on Tuesdays and Thursda s. The Architects' club met last even ing in the Mechanical Arts building and enjoyed a very interesting talk by Mr. FUery Davis. Mr. Davis spoke on ' the different phases of architecture and of the relation of design as the actual outgrowth of use. The talk was well received and very much enjoyed. About fifteen members were present. I The students of Professor Slaymak- er's class in building materials and i specifications recently paid a visit to i the Curtis, Towle and Paine sash and J door works of Lincoln, and were shown ' through the shops by a representative of the firm They spent an enjoyable thirty minutes in looking over the fin ish room, the dry-kilns and other branches of the factory.
