Letters Now in Mailing Headquarters
Will Be Established.
The new alumni secretary, Guy Reed,
is sending out letters to Nebraska
alumni In Iowa asking them to go to
the game at Ames the 8th of Novem
ber Headquarters will be established
ami preparations made to entertain the
large number who are expected.
For the K U. game invitations an
being mailed to all old men in the
neighboring states, comprising a large
part of Nebraska's alumni. Headquar
ters will be set up in Lawrence for
this occasion and an attempt made to

spirit

The Chicago Record-Herald says that
Nebraska is football wild. As an ex
planation, the paper further states
that football enthusiasm at the Univer
sity of Nebraska has been raised to
the highest pitch at has reached for
several years as the result of the game
with Minnesota

Nebraska defeats the Haskell In
dians by a score of 10-0.
Acting in accordance with the
wishes of Chancellor Andrews, aH ex
pressed some time ago, an effort will
be made to have class rivalry between
the freshman and sophomore classes
settled in either a pushball or football
contest
1911
Nebraska loses a hard game to the
Cophers at Minneapolis Score, 21-3.
School of Ag. vs. Temple High.
The first game of the season for the
School of Agriculture eleven will be
played with the Temple High School
at the Farm today at 4 o'clock. The
School of Agriculture team has been
under the supervision of Coach Clay-
baugh, several members arriving for
practice a week or two before the
school began. The game promises to
be a good one.
