Mi K Worth ley, who waa ap pointed b the recent convention of Nebraska Methodists to take the position of University pastor, is not interim; into a strange field of opera tions For he is a Nebraska man, fa miliar with the ways of thlB campus. He was granted his master's degree last spnnfi by Nebraska University, having spent the year as a fellow in the department of sociology. In the spring of 1908 Rev. Worthley was graduated from Weeleyan Be tween that time and this he has been engaged in regular ministerial as well as Y. Al V. A. work, being especially interested in the sociological problems with which ho came in contact He is a young man, and his appointment by the conference marks him as a man who enjoys the confidence of his col leagues in the work. He will work in cooperation with Drs. Leland and Howard, the other student pastois Johnson at Des Moines Sergeant Johnson, who aided Lieu tenant How man in the department of military science last year, is now on recruiting duty in Des Moines, Iowa. His absence from the regiment this year will be much regretted. For the purpose of establishing cor rections, therefore, in addresses and telephone numbers, men will be sta tioned at central points on the campus Tuesday and Wednesday of next week. All students who wiBh to be correctly listed in the Directory, but who are not sure that the address given during registration week is correct, will hand their names, with the correct address and telephone number, to these committeemen. Organizations, fraternities, and so rorities will be asked to furnish lists ot the names of their active members for use in the Directory. Thisi.must be done promptly, elBe the publication of the book will be delayed. The committee in charge of the Di rectory this year is headed by W. G. Hewitt, assisted by Olenn Everts, H M. Diers, and Canaday.
