team met the East Lincoln team and
won from them by a score of 7 to 4.

Chinese Ball Team Defeats
University of Missouri

The Chinese baseball team played
University of Missouri last Tuesday
and defeated them by a score of 2 to 0.
The good fielding, together with the
quick and accurate throwing of the
foreigners, aided materially in their
winning the game Although neither
team scored many hits, the Missouri
coach said that the Chinese were the
only foreign team that he ever saw
that could hit
There are fourteen men making the
trip, thirteen playeiB and the manager.
They have suffered defeat but five
times since they have been in the
United States, and then by profession
al teams. The team easily defeated
Mich teams as Kansas Aggies, Kansas,
Leland Stanford Jr, and St. Mary's
