team for tho yoar of 1913. They are
to run against the crack Oklahoma
team.
The teams representing the Missouri
Valley colleges are paired off. The
time of the winners Is taken and the
team making tho best time is declared
the winner.
Oklahoma has for her relay team
practically all of hor last seasons back
field. Any Cornhuskor will remember
how tho "Soonors" backfiold had the
habit of bringing your heart in your
throat when they started to run.
Nebraska is in vory poor condition
for the race because of injuries to tho
men. Zumwinkol has wrenched his
kneo on a turn in tho track and It Is
not known for suro yet whether or
not he will be able to go Possibly
an alternate will have to be taken in
his place.
Racely has sprained his shoulder in
basketball and this hampers him some
what. Nearly all tho team are plan
ning on entering some of tho individ
ual events. Racely and Zumwinkle are
entering tho fifty-yard dash. Beavor
and Clark will run in tho quarter mile.
The toam leaves Friday afternoon.
Coach Reed has promised returns im
mediately after the meet is over.
