MINNESOTA DATE SETTLED Cornhuskers and Gophers to Meet on Nebraska Field October 19. October 10, 1913 will be a day which will long be remember at Nebraska for on that day the Gophers under Captain Shaughnessey will play on Nebraska Field. This will bo the first time In the history of the school that Minnesota has over played on the Cornhuskers' own field and It will, without a doubt bo the hardest fought battle that Nebraskans will see for many a year. The electrical engineering depart ment is to have a new instructor, It. W. Goddard will have charge of part of the laboratory work after February 7. Mr. Goddard, who graduated from Worcester Polytechnic Institute In 1911, is well fitted for his work, hav ing had considerable practical experi ence. During the past year he has been connected with the firm "of Gas colgne and Shattuck, constructing en gineers of Boston.
