BOTANY SCHOOL SYNOPSIS HERE
Announcement of Summer Session of
Graduate School in Plant Ecology
Prominent Educators in
Charge.
The Botany department has received
a synopsis of the coming session of the
graduate bchool of Plant Ecology, held
from July 1 to September 1 The lab
oratory is situated at Minuehaha-on-Ruxton,
Manitou, Colorado. It Is 8,500
teet above sea level on the cog rail
way between Manitou and the summit
of the peak. The climate Is said to
be Ideal, the temperature at no time
exceeding 15 degrees Fahrenheit.
The course Is open to a limited num
ber bf graduate students not to exceed
12, and the tuition la remarkably low.
Frederick E .Clements, Ph.D., of the
University of Minnesota, Is in direct
charge of the researches. He Is as
sisted by Raymond Pool of the local
Botany department, Edith Clements.
And II. L. Shantz, special lecturer of
the Bureau of Plant Industry, Depart
ment of Agriculture. Detailed Infor
mation can be secured by those inter

the University of Minnesota.
