mooting, and a Bpeclal Invitation has
been Issued to all tho Swedish stu
dents In tho University to bo present
and take part In tho festivltloa. The
mooting will bo held at tho homo of
Prof. J. Alexis, 1420 Elm street, Satur
day evening. This Is to be tho last
mooting of tho society before the
ChrlBtmas holidays, and for this rea
son tho program will be a Yuletlde
one. In order to more fully observe
tho customs of tho season, all who In
tend to come are being askod to bring
somo article not exceeding 10 cents

Apple Judging to be Competed In by
Three 8chools To Meet In Lincoln.
The men of the Horticultural De
partment of the College of Agricul
ture are planning for the Horticultural
Show which Is to take placb January
20 to 24 at the Lincoln Auditorium.
There are twelve men trying out for
the Fruit Judging Team to represent
the University of Nebraska, Kansas,
and Ames a,re the only schools which
will send teams In previous years
the Apple Show has been held in
Council Bluffs or St. Joe, but this year
It will be held in Lincoln. It Is ex
pected that this will bo the largest
and best exhibit of fruit which haa
been soon In this part of tho country
