Ex-Regents Morrill and Kaley visited
the State Museum this week and was
pleased to note that so much had been
done to restore the museum Bince the
Are of March C. Mr. Morrill, who has
been such a liberal patron of palaeon
tological research, was president of
the Board of Regents for twelve years,
while Mr. Kaley served as regent for
two terms.

ed the campus yesterday. Mr. Ralph
is deputy county surveyor of Richard
son county and is doing considerable
drainage work through the state.

came down Saturday for the game and
will be here during this session of the
Legislature, to which he was elected
from his district.
J. B. Burnett on Clays.
Mr. J. B. Burnett, an assistant on
the Nebraska geological Burvey, visit
ed the clay beds of Table Rock last
week to secure samples for Professor
Borrowman, who Is making chemical
and physical tests of the important
clays of Nebraska.
A. B. Wonder, Class '82.
Mr. A. B. Wonder, U. of N. 1882,
now of Montrose, Col., visited the de
partment of geology this week and ex
pressed astonishment at the growth
wjiich the University had made, the
main building being the only one famil
iar to him. He was In the class with
Paul F. Clark.
