enrolled in the girls' swimming classes

will begin immediately upon the ar
rival of the suits from an eastern firm
The pool will be reserved for the Uni
versity on Thursday's between 8 ji m
and 2 30 p m.
Miss Gittings, who is directly re
sponsible for the success of this ven
ture, will be ably assisted by Miss
Thornburg and Miss Brown. The lat
ter was connected with the Capital
Beach bathing pool last summer and
is widely known for her prowess in the
fine art of swimming.
FINISHING WORK REMAINS.
Plastering and Steam Work Taken Up
in Law Building.
Saturday the plastering in the new i
law building began, and from now on
the finishing work will take most of
the time and labor.
The steam work began yesterday
with the commencement of a tunnel
through which the steam pipes, elec
tric light and'telephone wires will be
