"Cupid at VaBHar" is the clever lit
tlo play which the senior clnss of tho
Templo HiKh School will give at the
Temple theatre. Saturday night. April
27. This is one of the most popular
of college plays and the high school
folk expect to put on a good produc
tion.
Several Bongs and novelties hae
been Introduced that will add to the
work of the individual actors. .Julia
Proudlltt, of Lincoln, has the leading
part. The play is being directed by
F. (.'. McConnell of the University
How China Aids Students.
While Uncle Sam doesn't worry
about the little .Japs much and still
loss about the Chinamen, it is well
that we all stud the Chinaman with
a view to improving our own condi
tions in many ways It is hard to tell
what we would hae done with a sum
the amount of which was paid to the
Chinese government as an indemnity
fund at the time of the Hoxer trouble,
but here is what China did with that
fund.
"Columbia boasts of thirty nine Chi
neBe students, whose expenses arc be
ing paid out of the Hoxer indemnity
fund from the United States to
China."
