HE WAS ONLY ENGAGED
CALLER AT "RAG" OFFICE RE-
8ENT3 BEING MARRIED IN
PRINT TO WRONG GIRL.
"You married mo whon I'm only on
gaged," was the mournful complaint
that reached tho ofllco of tho Dally
. Nobraskan, Wednesday morning.
"What 1b moro, you married mo to tho
wrong girl. I could stand tho first,
but tho last never."
Dismay filled tho facoB of tho editor
and IiIb BtalT. "Why, wo novor put
anybody under tho bondB of matri
mony, at loaBt so far as wo remem
ber. Don't wo have onough troubles
of our own without your accusing us
of marrying you to the wrong dam
sel?" Explanations followed, and the fact
was finally discovered that In an item
in tho personal column it had been
stated that MY.. Brown and Mrs.
Brown, neo Jones, had visited Lin
coln. Furthermore, It waB found that
Mr. Brown was not married, but only
engaged, and that tho girl ho was
about to wed was not Miss Jones.
This slight discrepancy was easily ex
plained from the fact that the re
porter writing tho itom was very much
in lovo at tho time and consequently
wrote of things as they should have
been, and not as thoy really were.

that freezing before the concrete has

1b whether or not the injury is suf
