tor Day," tho forty-third birthday of
our Unlvorslty. Lot us honor her,

Vesper services have been an
nounced for Friday evening as UBual,
tho plpo organ in tho University chap
ol having been repaired. No vesper
services woro held last week, owing to
tho fact that the big Instrument had
been carelessly damaged, evidently by
some basketball player In the act of
retrieving tho ball from the inner re
cesses of tho organ. Mrs. A. C. Duggs
will sing.

Ideals," was tho subject of tho hour,
prosonted by Miss Beach, supervisor
of kindergarten pupils at Wesleyan
Unlvorslty. Tho thirty-first chapter of
Proverbs was tho text on which Miss
Beach based hor talk, enumerating
thoso flno qualitios which a truo wo
man should pobbcbb and which college
girls ought to develop in a larger degree
Dr. R. G. Clapp of tho athletic board
received word Wednesday that tho
annual wrestling tournament of the"
Western A. A. U. would bo held at
Kansas City, Mo., this year on March
9 and 10. Nebraska will send a team,
composed probably of flvo men, to
compete. Tho meet decides the ama
teur wrestling championships of the
west. Thoro aro to bo flvo classes: fea
therweight, light, welter, middle and
heavy.
