At a mooting of tho Michigan Alumni
Association of tho Issourl Valley, a
sot of resolutions was adopted and
sont to Manager Dartelme, and also
to tho Michigan Dally, for tho purpoBo
of sounding tho student sentiment In
tho mattor of a Nebraska gamo for
1912.

braska gamo Is worthy of considera
tion. It demonstrates again the fact
that Michigan spirit only begins In
Ann Arbor.
If a satisfactory dato preceding tho
Cornell and Pennsylvania games can
bo agreed upon, Nebraska will no
doubt bo Included in our schedule. It
would bo a splondid contest. But as
a poBt-seuBon exhibition with a team
reduced to battle-scarred cripples who
have survived four successive ensuing
intersectional contests, a game with
Nebraska can only be tho anti-climax
of an othorwiBo well-balanced

DELTA UPSILON WINS
' OVER KAPPA SIGMA
Tho Delta Upsllon Ave started on
their Journey to tho Inter-fraternity
baskotball championship by defeating
tho Kappa Sigma five by tho Bcoro of
18 to C. Tho game was not featured
by uny star playing of individuals, but
tho team work on both sides was good.
The score was kept low becauso of
the poor basket shooting on both
Bides. The Delta Upsllons had tho
advantage In weight.
Tho Dolta Upsllon toam won tho
Intor-fratornlty championship last
year and say that thoy will repeat this
year. The Gym will be kept busy all
through the day tomorrow with tho
Interfrat games.

European Tour Planned.
Dr. J. T. Lees, professor of tho
classic languages In the University, is
organizing a party for a tour of
Europe during the coming summer.
The itinerary includes a six-day voy
age outward via the St. Lawrence
river and the Thousand Islands and
Quebec, with Liverpool as Its destina;
tlon. Thence several days In rural
England, a week In London, and fol
lowing are visits to the principle clt'es
in all Europe of interest to Americans
such as Venice, Naples, Paris, Brus
sels, Berlin, Antwerp, Florence, and
Rome.
The return trip Is scheduled to start
from Naples and is routed via Gibral-
ter and New York. The party will
leave Lincoln about June 18, returning
September 9.

The YatcB Rifle team hold another

day. This' time Its opponent was Ari
zona. Tho Nebraska team made a

mado a record of 961 points out of a
poBBlblo 1,000 In a competitive "by
maU" shoot with Nebraska's team,
Wednesday. This Is the highest score
ever mado by a western school in a
competitive meet, and our crack shots
must show a clear eye and steady
hand to equal the Hawkoyo feat.

The warm weather has made 'the
Farm cadets taking theoretical drill
restless.
