Bureau of Ethnology, will deliver an
address at convocation today. Mr. La
Floscho is in Lincoln to apeak bofore
tho Historical Association. Ho was
born and raised on a reservation, and
Is an authority on Indian problems.

Historical Convention.
Prosaic old Nebraska can show a
collection of home-product jewels that
would make tho uninformed open
their oyes. In tho Historical Library
there . is on exhibition a cabinet of
semi-precious jewels and stones col
lected from tho Republican Valley by
Fathor Dennis Fitzgerald of Red
Cloud. There Is an exceptional collec
tion of agates, garnets and topaz.
Part of those aro cut and polished,
and a groat many aro In the rough.
Tho collection Is loaned by Father
Fitzgerald during tho -State Historical
convontlon.
