Ten Nebraska students will spend their holiday In deputation work un der the direction of the state commit tee of Y, M. C. A. Five men will go to Friend to conduct a campaign and five will visit Fremont In an attempt to help some high school boys solve their difficulties. The trips will be purely of a social service nature. While all work will center about the religious problem, it will be the aim of the men to scien tifically study local conditions and ad vise with individuals and committees as to the best means of making boy life in the town more enjoyable and raising the life standards of the boys. The teams will spend five days In the town, the campaign beginning on December 27 and concluding on Sun day, December 31. The Friend team will be composed of Klddoo, WIebe, Colbert, Frost, and Beach, and the one going to Fremont will Include Ar nold. Dinsmore, Plumb, Guldinger, and RIppey. The Sigma Chi fraternity will give its third annual Christmas dinner dance tonight at the chapter house. Twenty-five couples will attend. After the dinner Mr. W? E. Hardy, an alumnus of the chapter, who has for some years taken the role of Santa Claus, will distribute the gifts from the Christmas tree.
