The finul tryouts for the Cornhusker Glee Club were held Tuesday evening at the Conservatory. Eight men were chosen from the squad of sixteen to complete the twenty-four which make up the 'permanent club. Prospects for a successful season for the Glee Club are very good. Al though a director for the year has not been decided upon, practice Is pro ceeding regularly and no delay 1b ex pected to result from this. Several men are in line for the position and in all probability one will be chosen at the first meeting of the complete club. Several trips are being planned for the holidays. Denver will possibly be the destination of one, while the usual trips will be made to the nearby towns. These trips are to be under the supervision of the University au thorities, so there is no danger of a1 financial failure, as in past years. Tryouts for the annual Junior Play will be held in the Temple this even ing beginning promptly at seven o'clock. Up to Wednesday evening thirty five applications had been received by the committee for places on the cast of "A Jloyal Family." Most of the candidates are trying out for principal parts, and it is ex pected as a consequence that there will be a few disappointments. The committee will meet Tuesday at twelve o'clock to receive the report of the judging committee. At that time the list will be announced. Uni students are invited to try tho Y. M. C. A.
