The deputation team conference
held In Lincoln Friday and Saturday
waB attended by representatives from
other colleges out In the Btate. "Dad"
Elliott, international student secre
tary of the weBern division of Y. M.
O. A. work, was the principal man on
tho program. He came west from Chi
cago just to be prcBent at this confer
ence. Most of the men in attendunco at
tho conference wilt spend thoir holi
day vacation in social service work
of a doflnito religious nature. They
will go in teams of five men each into
the smaller towns, and there get into
touch with the life of the community
and help the boys and young men to
solve some of their local "problems."
Only one team will go to a town or
any size. Secretary Kendall nnd some
of the boy leaders of the Fremont Y.
M. C. A. have asked and strongly
urged one team to come to Fremont.
Tho other Nebraska toam will go to
Friend, a small town to the' westward.
Uni Btudcnts are invited to try tho
Y. M. C. A. Barbers. You will like
thoir work.
Foresters Meet.
Professor Bridgoman addressed the
Forestry Club at its meeting last
night. He spoke on "Government
Land Surveys."

$100 per Homester. For each loan a
note shall bo taken, drawn for tho full
amount of the loan and with interest
at 5 per cont per annum, payable as
Bpecilled in the note, 'fhe maximum
time limit for which notes shall be
drawn shall bo two years from the
first day of the month following the
probable date of graduation. Tho
committee will expect tho maker of
the, note' to furnish additional secur
ity; either an opdorsor or acceptable
collateral.
9. The amount of each loan shall be
hold as a deposit with tfto treasurer
of tho fund in favor of the principal
maker of the noto, and shall be sub
ject to withdrawal by him In sums not
.exceeding twenty-five ($25.00) per
month, except at the cIobo of the
senior year, or it a graduate' student,
at tho end of tho course. Tho commit
tee reserves the right to modify thiB
rule, in extraordinary cases.
10. Tho committee may at any time
require from tho boneficlary a state
ment of his experiBcs while at the Uni
versity. 11. Tho committee may, even after
