noon luncheon.
Dr. Bossoy reports a very onthusi-
astlc mooting at Kansas, about 4,000

Captain Van Dusen Gives Smoker for
Officers and Men.
A smoker was given by tho officers'
of Company K last night at tho Phi
Gam Iioubo. An excellent time was
enjoyed by tho men. At tho close of
festivities a spread was given, accom
panied with short talks by tho ofllcors.

Gorman .dealer -for-3,000. -species of.
South African plants, as an addition
to tho University herbarium.
Tho hotany department has JuBt re
ceived 700 specimens of plants from
British Honduras. The specimens
will be classified and mounted In the
.herbarium.
Dr, Bossoy considers this a decided
addition, because tho plants are .so en
tirely different from any which can he
obtained In this hemisphere.
