THEIR OWN FOUR PRIZE8

At a mooting in Miss Walker's of
fice Thursday noon, ton girls signed
up for tho tonnls tournament to bo
hold -within the next fow days. Only
singles are to bo played. Four prizes
aro offered, a first and second, and
two consolation prizes. Tho cham
pionship prizo will bo a silver cup
and it and tho second prizo will bo
given by tho association. Miss Pound
and Miss Walker will offer tho two
consolation trophies.

Tho preliminary gamos will bo
played off this afternoon and Satur
day morning, according to tho follow
ing schedule:

Tho finals and soml-ilnals will bo
arranged as soon as tho winners of

and will probably bo played off during
tho first of tho week. This Is tho first
year that a girls' tennis tournament
has been attempted at Nebraska, but
if it provos successful this year, it is
hoped that it may be repeated in tho
futuro.
