Captain Yates Will Try to Raise
Standard Butts Liked Cadets.
Commandant Yates gave a short
talk to tho officers of the regiment
Tuesday evening in which ho out
lined his plans for the coming year.
A stricter military discipline will be
rofiuired of the cadets this yoaf than
in provious years. The now U. S.
Army drill regulations will be put
Into offect at once.
Ho reminded the officers that only
through hard work and with tho
hoarty co operation of the officers and
cadetB could Nebraska take its place
in tho front rank of schools having
military training.
Captain Yates concluded his talk
by thanking tho men for their work
in maintaining order along tho line of
march during the Taft parado.

Bureau of Education, visited the Uni
versity .yesterday. Ho is making a
tour of a number of states, investigat
ing tho work in agricultural educa
tion. Preceding hiB coming here, he
visited tho universities of Missouri
