In tho Bocond quarter, tho two Frank brothors. Racoly and Purdy got In somo good backflold work for long gains and tho two big tackles per formed somo offoctlvo lino bucking. Purdy carried tho ball across for both scores. Scrubs Got In. Coach Stlohm playod tho scrubs In tho third quartor, Gibson contributing two touchdowns and Ernost Frank tho third. With tho first team back In tho fourth quartor, Purdy and Pot ter concluded tho gamo with two more touchdowns. Elliott and Hornborgor did thorn Bolves proud In their work at contor Saturday, Hombergor filling In at guard for a part of the game also. Hlg Pearson opened wldo holes In tho woakor freshman lino for the backs to plow through and Shonka and Har mon proved well their abilities to plug the lino for gains. Chaunor and Lofgron played pretty dofenBlve games, but the wetness of tho ball prevented showing what they could do with the forward pasB. AndoVson and Swanson played sub-tackles for Har mon and Shonka for a part of the game. Potter at Quarter. Potter and ErnoBt Frank alternated at quartor. both mon playing well, and getting in some long runs in ad dition to clover work In passing the ball. Gibson and Purdy played full back, Gibson showing up better in Saturday's gamo thnn ho has at any tlmo this yoar. Owen Frank held one half all the game, Racoly and Ernest Frank alternating at tho other. Howard, Hawkins, Mnsten and Al len all played noticeably star games for tho freshman team, but tho prldo of that eleven 1b Halllgan, the husky North Platter, who held the fullback position.
