Loland Installation at Pres byterian Church. William J. Bryan is to bo tho prin cipal speaker at a special service Sun day at tho First Presbyterian church, tho occasion being tho installation of D. R. Leland as University pastor, rep resenting all Presbyterian churches of tho state. , Reverend Loland, or "Doctor" as he is known to tho students, has for two years been University pastor of the First Presbyterian church, but now becomes a worker under the direction of the entire synod of Nebraska and at convocation next Thursday, JRoc tor Fling, as professor of European History, has taken much interest In this subject, and always has some thing Interesting to toll. On TuoBday, October 10, Dean Bos soy will talk on "Problems of Rural Life." Doctor BeBBoy is chairman of tho Nebraska Commission on Rural Life, and has made a special study of rural conditions in this and other Btates. A series of convocations will be started next week on Friday after noonB, on tho subject, "European Life."
