Last Saturday evening the boys of the Palladlan Literary society were most royally entertained at a banquet, given by the Palladlan girls, at the Gooden home on South Twenty-ninth street. A delicious flve-courso menu was served by four of Miss Gooden's young girl friends. Miss Alice Ran som and Mr. Hutton furnished the nniBic for the evening. Ilss "Vera Barger, the Palladlan president, acted as toast mistress. Those responding to toasts were: Misses Anna Som mer and Irene Montgomery, S. A. Ma hood, J. R. Beach and H. C. Filley.
