With a victorious track team and a
winning tennis aggregation the Corn
buskers have no reason to complain.
The fpotball team came out of the
season with championship honors,
and while tho baskotball team wns not
so fortunate, it defeated tho cham
pion Jayhawkcrs In threo gumcB out
of four played. Both debating teams
received decisions over their oppon
ents, There Is no necessity to ask
where Nebraska 1b.
The business management of the
Cornhusker mao'e a wise decision
when the plan of giving out the 1911
year book at tho senior play was
abandoned. The Oliver theater is no
place for distribution, and when the
subscribers got the Cornhusker they
want to road it and not watch a play.
The benefit will bo great on all sides.
This would be discrimination against
those who will bo unable to attend the
play that evening. Doubtless a ma
jority of those present will not bo sub
scribers,, for many students have an
nounced their Intentions of attending
the matinee, because they "do not
want to put on swallow tails and sideboards."
